i-MID Infotainment System

i-MID stands for “intelligent Multi-Information Display,” and you can find the Honda i-MID infotainment system paired to an 8-inch touchscreen interface on every new Honda Accord. Its crystal-clear display gives you easy access to your smartphone and Bluetooth settings, receives text messages, displays driving stats, lets you manage your music or audiobooks, interfaces with Pandora radio, and provides a view of what’s behind your Accord while backing up thanks to the standard rearview camera. You can even customize it with a wallpaper to lend a bit of your personality to the Accord.

• Driving Information: Everything from your current mpg to the song playing to any text messages you receive will be on display and easy for you to read on the i-MID’s touchscreen. If you have Honda’s available navigation system, it will even display the turn-by-turn directions.
• Bluetooth HandsFreeLink: Manage your Bluetooth connection with the press of a few buttons on your i-MID touchscreen and you’ll be all set to make handsfree phone calls and stream Bluetooth audio through your sound system.
• Pandora Connectivity: The i-MID is built to be compatible with Pandora. Thumbs-up or thumbs-down a song and adjust your current station to play only the music you want to hear. Because the Accord syncs with Pandora, your station will remember those changes whether you’re listening at home, on your phone, or on the road.
• Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) Display: The 8-inch touchscreen is as pretty as it is practical thanks to the TFT LCD display, the same kind of display used on the latest LCD computer monitors and smartphones.
• Photos: Personalize your i-MID with a pic of your pets or switch it out for your favorite vacation spot as you count down to the hours to the weekend. Just like the wallpaper on your computer, you can let a bit of yourself shine through on the i-MID.
• Look Behind the Accord: Each new Accord comes with a standard rearview camera with guidelines for easy backing up, and the view from the camera is linked to your i-MID screen so you can see any obstacles before backing up.
