Redesign & Changes

The current generation of the Accord started in 2013, but Honda hasn’t just let their flagship sedan linger over the last two years. The most significant changes that hit the Accord for this generation are its new Earth Dreams engines (a 185-hp 2.4L four-cylinder and a 278-hp 3.5L V6), available continuously variable transmission, and the new suite of high-tech standard features that has caused the whole auto world to rethink what should be included as a standard amenity. When you start off that strong, it can be tough to keep improving each year, and yet the Accord continues to get better and better.

2015 Honda Accord Sedan Front Grille

  • Designed Inside-Out: Honda designers worked on the Accord interior before sculpting the outside to ensure they had a comfortable and spacious cabin. Then they wrapped that cabin in curved and contoured sheet metal to deliver a design that turns heads.
  • Front Grille: The sophisticated yet bold design of the Accord’s front grille puts the complexity of Honda’s mid-size car on full display: the car offers attitude and class in one convenient and affordable package.
  • Alloy Wheels: Standard on the Accord, Honda has alloy wheels in 16,17, and 18-inch sizes as well as a unique design for the Sport trim level. Lightweight, durable, and stunning alloy wheels add a whole new level of distinction to a car.
  • Aggressive Look: Whether you spring for the 278-hp V6 or stick with the four-cylinder, you’re going to have an Accord that looks like it’s ready for a race thanks to the wedge-like design and the creasing on the rear of the car that contours directly into the taillights. Coupe models are able to embrace an even more dynamic stance due to their different tail end.
  • Smart Entry: Select Accord models unlock with just the press of a button mounted on the door handle. Your Accord knows when your key fob is near and makes digging for your keys a thing of the past.
  • Chrome Accents: Chrome door handles and exhaust finishers can be found on the Accord Sport Sedan and give the vehicle an extra bit of class, reminding drivers that mid-size cars aren’t just boring family sedans.
