Our Pre-Owned 2003 Acura TL Type-S

We have a pre-owned 2003 Acura TL Type-S  that just arrived on the lot. It’s priced significantly under $10,000 at $8,900 and offers a great bargain for a luxury sports sedan. This Acura has been well maintained, it looks great and has a ton of good years left with only 131,000 miles. The Acura TL is a well loved car and the Type-S trim offers a performance boost over the standard TL with more horsepower, a stiffer suspension, and the highest level interior trim offered on an Acura TL that features perforated leather interior, heated front seats, and a moonroof.

An Affordable Luxury Performance Sedan

This Tl is in great shape inside and out, with just a few scuffs on the front bumper to show for its 131,000 miles. The interior is in great shape and has a ton of features that you  wouldn’t expect in any vehicle at this price point.  The interior overall has a premium feel to it, with supple leather seats and wood accents and a Bose sound system. This Acura features a 5 speed automating transmission equipped with a sequential SportShift manumatic mode paired with its 260 horsepower 3.2L VTEC engine. The Acura Type-S has a lot of pep and can achieve 0-60mph in just 6.2 seconds, Car and Driver says:

 “Besides its robust peak power-260 hp at 6100 rpm-the high-output V-6 has very endearing torque traits: 232 pound-feet on tap from 3500 to 5500 rpm, which shows up as strong midrange punch: It zips from 30 to 50 mph in 3.3 seconds (the standard TL does it in 4.0) and 4.5 seconds from 50 to 70 mph (versus 5.9). “

This pristine example of an Acura TL Type-S doesn’t stop there. The seats are all in great shape with very few signs of wear. The center console features rear vents to keep the back seat comfortable, and the large trunk has an all weather liner mat so it’s ready for anything. Despite the extensive list of features and solid horsepower numbers, the TL Type-S still achieves 29mpg on the highway and 19mpg in the city.

This Acura TL Types-S is one of the best used car deals on the lot and I would say it’s the most car that you can get for the money. And because its an Acura, made by Honda, you know its going to be able to keep going and going for many miles to come.
