Honda #Cheerance Sale

The #Cheerance tag line might be a bit corny, but the event is amazing. From August 4, 2014 through August 8, 2014, Honda will be doing all sorts of things to spread cheer, and promote the Honda Summer Clearance Sale.

#Cheerance is Spreading Smiles

“We are committed to spreading unprecedented cheer starting today and connecting with as many people as we possibly can in five days,” said Susie Rossick, senior manager at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Honda has already started to spread the cheer through smile-inducing YouTube videos. These short clips feature adorable animals, beautiful nature scenes, and all sorts of images that just create smiles. Honda is even teaming with the YouTube-famous Andrew Hales who will promote the #Cheerance event on his wildly popular LAHWF YouTube channel.

Other ways Honda is Spreading #Cheerance

Outside of Social Media, Honda is bringing the #Cheerance to viewers live. These live events include randomly placed piñatas filled with treats, “Stand Here for Cheer” boxes on the street, and a “Cheer Detector” who finds and shares hidden boxes of prizes on the beach. The cheer can also be found on a Pandora Summer Cheerance station which features upbeat and happy songs. Additionally, unsuspecting radio listeners will get a dose of cheer when Steve Simeone delivers custom-made #Cheerance comedy bits during commercial breaks.

#Cheerance is Spreading Cheer to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

When Honda’s #Cheerance campaign is seen by 3 million people, Honda will donate $100,000 to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The Ashville, NC based PBTF is working to eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors and Honda’s donation could help them make great strides. So be sure to share the #Cheerance to be sure that 3 million people are reached
