For the 2012 Honda Accord, Honda has made changes to the navigation controls to resemble an iDrive knob and over 30 buttons surround the screen. The new Honda Accord will have 5 cu. ft. of extra cabin space and the fold-down rear seat will no longer be split. It’s either all cargo or all passengers in the rear of the vehicle.

The four-cylinder models will come with a choice between a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The V6 models will also be available with a six-speed manual transmission. The four-cylinder 2012 Honda Accord is expected to get an estimated 21 mpg around town and 31 mpg on the highway. The V6 models should get around 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

The 2012 Honda Accord comes with an array of safety features, including active front head restraints, standard four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ABS), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), as well as front, front side, and side curtain airbags.
