Honda Wants to Double Minicar Sales in 5 Years

Honda Motor Co. President Takanobu Ito recently said that Honda will double their minicar sales around the world in the next five years. While minicars are still not a huge hit in the United States, this is changing as gas prices continue to rise. People are finally realizing they don’t need a super large car if they’re just getting around the city. While some are hesitant to go with a hybrid or electric vehicle, they love the dependability of the minicars from Honda. They may only have around a 10% share in the world market currently, but they are working to change that in the years ahead.
