Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid is the Future of “Sporty” Cars

January 6th, 2011 by

The Honda CR-Z hybrid sports car was launched in August of 2010 with a MSRP of $19,200. The CR-Z is a distinct 2-seat coupe that is quick, has excellent handling, and is lightweight. It was designed to perform efficiently with its gasoline-electric hybrid engine. Under the hood is the 1.5 liter i-VTEC four cylinder engine and works well with the Integrated Motor Assist system.

Honda designed a new 3-mode drive system that gives drivers the ability to change the car’s responsiveness for Normal, Economy, or Sports modes. Consumers can purchase the CR-Z in trim levels—the base CR-Z and the CR-Z EX that comes with plenty of features. Standard features include six speaker audio system, climate control, keyless remote entry, and cruise control.

As with all Honda vehicles, the CR-Z has a strong construction for the safety of passengers and drivers. Advanced Compatibility Engineering for the body helps protect people in the car during a front end collision.
