Fuel-Saving, Eco-Friendly Features of the Honda FXC Clarity

The Honda FXC Clarity doesn’t run on gasoline, but it gets the equivalent of 60 mpg!  Honda’s Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle technology allows the Honda FXC Clarity to achieve this unmatched mileage without the use of toxic gasoline. The fuel cell combines hydrogen with oxygen to make electricity in a way that allows the vehicle to emit only water vapor instead of toxic emissions.  This advanced system combines the work of the high-efficiency lithium-ion battery, V-Flow fuel stack, and an electric motor.  Combined, it is the most lightweight, compact, fuel-efficient machine on the automotive market.

The Honda FXC Clarity’s interior is also more eco-friendly with Honda’s fabric choice.  Instead of covering the seats with traditional petroleum-based polyester, the Honda FXC Clarity’s seats are covered in Honda’s special plant-derived Bio-Fabric that provides a CO2 reduction of 30 percent.
