The 2013 Accord

Details on the 2013 Accord have gradually become available to Honda dealers in Colorado, and it’s looking to be another success. Honda has recently shown off the 2013 Honda Accord Coupe concept, and it serves as an indicator of what to expect from all of the 2013 Accord models that we’ll soon see. The base engine of this vehicle is going to be a new Earth Dreams 2.4L four-cylinder model that produces 181 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. There’s also word that Honda will offer a 3.5L V6 option too. The most intriguing news to Colorado Honda dealers about the new Accord, though, is the fact that Honda will be offering it as a plug-in hybrid that will feature a 2.0L four-cylinder engine working in concert with a 120kW electric motor. Obviously, this is sure to thrill Honda enthusiasts who want an even more fuel-efficient Accord! It’s also expected to offer three drive modes: all-electric, gasoline-electric, and direct-drive.
