2015 Honda Civic is ‘Perennial Bestseller’ with ‘Famous Reliability’

The editors at Kelley Blue Book (KBB) awarded the 2015 Honda Civic their Best Buy Award in the small car category. The editors have high praise for the Civic and applaud the car’s resale value, reputation, and smooth driving feel.

2015 Honda Civic Models

The 2015 Honda Civic is available in seven models: sedan, coupe, Si sedan, Si coupe, HF, hybrid, and natural gas. The HF gets the best mpg* rating for a non-hybrid with 41 mpg on the highway. The vehicle utilizes an aerodynamic decklid spoiler and alloy wheels that have low-rolling-resistant tires. The natural gas Civic runs on compressed natural gas, which has fuel-cost savings and is a partial-zero-emission vehicle. The hybrid Civic has a high-output electric motor and gets 47 mpg* on the highway.

Rounding out the Civic models is the sedan and coupe, which can also be the Civic Si. The Si has a strong racing heritage and comes with a 205-horsepower, 2.4-liter, 16-value DOHC i-VTEC engine. The six-speed manual transmission optimizes the performance-oriented vehicle and special features provide faster acceleration in first through fifth gear.

In 1972, the Honda Civic arrived on U.S. soil, and 43 years later the Civic is still going strong. The 2015 Honda Civic sedan and coupe have an in-line, 4-cylinder engine and get great mpg* with 30 city/ 39 highway/ 33 combined. The sedan is offered in four trim levels and the coupe in three. 2015 Civic Sedan and Coupe Features

The Civic sedan and coupe have similar offerings. The most noticeable difference is that the sedan has four doors, while the coupe has two. The sedan also has one more trim level, the SE. The LX trim level for both models includes:

• Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control Brakes individual wheels and/or reduces engine power. Traction-control helps prevent wheelspin during acceleration.
• Body-Colored Power Side Mirrors, including Expanded-view Driver’s Mirror The expanded view helps you spot vehicles in your driver-side blind spot.
• Intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) The 5-inch display shows music information from Pandora or the USB Audio Interface. It’s where you also customize settings.
• Rearview Camera with guidelines Single-angle camera shows what is directly behind your vehicle. There are three camera angles on Civics that are navigation equipped.
• Bluetooth, Pandora, SMS text message function, and USB Audio interface

The Civic sedan SE boasts 15-inch alloy wheels, Honda Lanewatch, 7-inch display audio, automatic climate control, and a six-speaker audio system. THe EX trim level in the sedan and coupe have a one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, smart entry, and push button start as well as automatic climate control, Honda Lanewatch, and 7-inch display audio. The EX coupe has a premium audio system with 7 speakers, including a subwoofer. THe top-of-the-line EX-L trim level offers heated front seats, leather-trimmed seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated side mirrors, fog lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The EX-L sedan has a driver’s seat with 8-way power adjustment.
