As for what to expect under the hood, it looks impressive. The Fit EV’s electric engine is derived from the model used in Honda’s FCX Clarity, and is capable of producing 123 hp and 189 lb-ft of torque. It’s powered by a 20kW air-cooled lithium-ion battery pack, and it will also feature three driving modes — Econ, Normal, and Sport— so you can control how efficient and how powerful your 2013 Fit EV will be during any given ride.
