The Differences Between 2013 Honda Accord Models.

Honda has created the models of the 2013 Accord to be easy to tell apart. The LX is the base model, which still comes nicely equipped from the factory. The 2013 Accord LX is equipped with a 2.4 liter VTEC 4 cylinder engine which produces 185 horsepower.  To ensure handling, the LX comes standard equipped with MacPherson front struts and multi-link rear suspension. The LX has a stylish exterior with chrome accents. An eight-inch I-mid screen is complimented by a 160-watt stereo system on the interior. The steering wheel in the 2013 Accord LX sedan is equipped with controls for both the cruise control and stereo to keep your hands on the wheel at all times. The Honda Accord LX Sedan features the new ACE II body structure, with six airbags and a rearview camera to ensure the safety of the occupants.2013 Honda Accord

Along with the Accord LX, Honda also offers the Honda Accord Sport. The Accord Sport adds an additional four horsepower to the engine and a strut tower brace in the engine bay. The 2013 Accord Sport also features 18-inch alloy wheels, deck-lid spoiler, fog lights and dual-chrome exhaust tips. The interior of the 2013 Honda Accord Sport has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, paddle shifters and 10-way power adjustable front driver seat.

The 2013 Accord EX builds upon the LX by offering a push-to-start button, one-touch power moon roof, a 10-way-adjustable front driver seat, upgraded 160-watt stereo with six speakers, smart entry and the new Honda Lane Watch feature.

The EX-L adds to the EX by offering a “sport” mode to the CVT transmission. The 2013 Honda Accord EX-L uses upgraded LED brake lights on the exterior. The interior of the EX-L Accord Sedan has a leather wrapped steering wheel, four-way, power-adjustable passenger seat, heated leather seats, a 360-watt stereo with seven speakers and a subwoofer. The EX-L comes with Honda Link, XM Radio, Navigation, an eight-inch screen and optional 16-GB hard drive. The 2013 Honda Accord EX-L adds many safety features to the EX. These include: forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and a multi-angle rearview camera.

The Accord EX-L has the ability to upgrade the engine from the four-cylinder to a V6. The Honda Accord EX-L V6 model produces 278 horsepower from a 3.5 liter i-VTEC V6 engine. The transmission attached to the V6 is a six-speed automatic with sport mode. The exterior of the Accord EX-L V6 features LED daytime running lights and chrome-exhaust finishers.

The final model of the 2013 Honda Accord Sedan is the Touring edition. The Touring edition adds LED headlights with automatic on/off switch and a navigation unit with 16-GB hard drive complete with FM traffic. The 2013 Honda Accord Touring has adaptive cruise control for additional safety.
