Changes & Redesign

In order to remain competitive in one of the fiercest segments of the auto market, updates have to happen nearly every year, and the 2015 Honda CR-V changes and redesign help it keep a tight grip on the crossover segment. From an updated engine with an improved fuel economy to new high-tech amenities and safety features to a brand new trim level, the 2015 Honda CR-V has enough changes that it could feel like a new generation to some drivers.

  • Touring Trim Level: While three trim levels served the CR-V well for years, Honda knew that some drivers wanted more, and now you can find some of the most advanced safety technologies as well as stylistic touches like turn signals integrated into side mirrors and new 18-inch alloy wheels on this top trim level.
  • Honda Sensing Safety: The new Honda Sensing safety suite is included on the Touring trim level, but it deserves its own section. Featuring collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, and lane departure warning, this new level of safety technology helped the CR-V take home Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS.
  • New Engine: While the 2014 Honda CR-V had a 2.4L four-cylinder engine under the hood as well, the new model received an update in both torque and fuel efficiency. This new engine is rated at 185 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque, and 2015 CR-V 2WD models earn an EPA-estimated 34 highway and 27 city mpg now.*
  • New Design: The 2015 model year saw Honda’s CR-V receive a refresh that brought a bolder appearance with more aggressive new design elements that are sure to turn heads.

The best way to experience the 2015 Honda CR-V changes and redesign is to see them in person, from behind the wheel.
