• V6 Kick: Every 2014 Honda Pilot model is outfitted with a 3.5L V6 engine with variable cylinder management to maximize fuel efficiency without compromising performance. This engine puts out 250 hp and 253 lb-ft. of torque, and when mated to the 5-speed automatic transmission with two-wheel drive, the new Pilot LX gets an EPA-estimated 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.*

• Variable Torque Management: This available four-wheel drive system is optional for each new Honda Pilot and works automatically to deliver impressive traction during undesirable road conditions. However, should you find yourself in an extremely low-traction environment, the VTM-4 Lock feature allows you to manually lock the rear differential to get the 2014 Honda Pilot moving.

High-Tech Security and Entertainment

• Three-Row Side Curtain Airbags: Standard for the 2014 Honda Pilot, every row of seating is equipped with side curtain airbags. These airbags are also outfitted with a rollover sensor to keep passengers from further injury in the event of a roll situation.

• Active Head Restraints: During a rear-end impact, the front row head restraints move up and forward in milliseconds to help reduce the chances of neck injury.

• Standard Infotainment System: The Intelligent Multi-Information Display, or i-MID, is Honda’s own 8-inch display that controls Bluetooth handsfree communication, audio settings, and even shows vehicle performance information such as fuel economy or miles driven.
