Considering a 2015 Hyundai Elantra Near Boulder?

The Hyundai Elantra  is a well-equipped, and capable sedan now available in the Boulder area. The Elantra offers a number of amenities for local drivers, including:

  • Standard entertainment system with iPod/USB and auxiliary input jacks
  • Available 7-inch touchscreen navigation
  • Center armrest storage

However, while these amenities would be a welcome addition to any model, the 2015 Hyundai Elantra isn’t quite the ideal choice for prospective sedan buyers. Consider Honda’s competing model, the 2015 Honda Accord, which offers an impressive 185 hp from its standard 2.4L, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine—a 40 hp jump up from the Elantra’s 1.8L inline 4-cylinder that promises 145 hp.

The Accord also earned a coveted 5-star rollover and side crash test safety rating from the NHTSA during recent tests, while the Hyundai Elantra earned only a 4-star rating in the rollover test.

The 2015 Honda Accord also offers a more spacious cabin, giving drivers a full 15.8 cubic feet of cargo volume, whereas the Elantra offers 14.8 cubic feet. The Accord also delivers a whopping 103.2 cubic feet of passenger space, dwarfing the Hyundai Elantra’s meager 95.6 cubic feet.

To top it off, the Honda Accord gives drivers a larger capacity fuel tank—17.2 gallons, whereas Hyundai’s is 12.8 gallons.

To illustrate the differences between the two vehicles, take a look at this table, which splays these stats out side-by-side.
