The 2016 Honda HR-V capacity has room for the whole family and plenty of cargo, but you might not guess it from its sleek exterior. With up to 100.1 cubic feet of passenger space and seating for up to five, the HR-V makes for a great family vehicle while also remaining a fun-to-drive compact crossover that feels just as comfortable taking the kids to school or zipping through busy city streets.

Whether you’re in the front or the back, the HR-V has plenty of space to stretch out, and if you don’t need all five seats filled, you can easily expand the cargo area from its 24.3 cubic feet to as much as 57.6 cubic feet.

If you heard “compact crossover” and thought you wouldn’t have room in the back seat, rest easy: there’s room for five full-size adults in the HR-V. Take a look at the dimensions for yourself:

Comfort is about more than just having the space to get comfortable, though; Honda has made sure you have modern comfort and luxury amenities available to you on the HR-V. The mid-range HR-V EX features heated front seating for those cold winter months, and the EX-L Navi trim level comes with leather-trimmed seating. Open up the one-touch power moonroof to let in the fresh air or let the available automatic climate control take over and ensure that everyone is comfortable by setting the temperature from the driver’s seat.
