2015 Honda Crosstour MPG Ratings

2015 Honda Crosstour

Honda’s long standing commitment to greener technologies applies to much more than its wide array of hybrid models. Chosen as one of Autobytel’s Top 10 Best Gas Mileage Wagons, the 2015 Honda Crosstour is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles from the 2015 year for its size and power. Although it’s discontinued now, we are still proud of the efficiency of the 2015 Crosstour.

Fuel Efficiency Comes Standard

Honda has paired two powerful engines and two transmission choices together to engineer fuel economy that doesn’t compromise performance.

The fuel efficient engines that get the larger 2015 Honda Crosstour mpg numbers you wouldn’t believe are the:

  • In-Line 4-Cylinder – The 16-Valve, DOHC, iVTEC, 4-cylinder is the base engine available in the EX and EX-L models. Boasting 192 hp at 7,000 RPM and 162 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 RPM, you won’t have any trouble getting around town with this power plant. Honda has paired the 4-cylinder with the 5-speed automatic for a smooth, reliable ride. This pairing offers an EPA-estimated 22 mpg city/31 mpg highway*.
  • 6-Cylinder – The 24-Valve, SOHC, iVTEC, V6 engine offers an impressive kick with 278 hp at 6,200 RPM and 252 lb-ft of torque at 4,900. This choice provides more than enough juice to get out of town and onto the road less travelled – particularly if you choose the EX-L V6 and pair it with the available 4-wheel drive option. The 2WD model gets an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city/30 mpg highway*.

  • Adding a 4WD unit to the 6-cylinder/6-speed combination has a negligible effect on fuel economy, still offering an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city/28 mpg highway*.

Both of the available power plants come equipped with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), which automatically adjusts the number of cylinders used according to driving conditions, thus optimizing your engine’s efficiency.

Keeping Efficiency in Sight

But the 2015 Honda Crosstour is efficient in more ways than one. EX-L and V6 models come equipped with an intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID), which gives drivers access to information about the vehicle directly to the control panel. i-MID allows drivers to see their fuel consumption in real-time and gives them tips on how to adjust their driving accordingly, so they can optimize the Crosstour’s efficiency.
