I am a Canadian, and have a 2008 Honda Element, I just moved down to Boulder for employment and had a dead battery issue. Because I had a Canadian car under Honda Care, there was some difficulty getting a new battery under my Honda warrantee. Brownlow at Fisher's Service desk was very helpful to figure this out for me, taking the time to assist and manage the paper work from my Canadian Honda dealer, and eventually got my battery replaced under my Honda warrantee. "Fisher Honda of Boulder has handled all maintenance and repair for my car for the last 6 years. I have counted on them for honest, hassle-free service, excellent and timely work, and courtesy. Fisher repaired my CR-V to brand new after a serious collision in '07; when they came across an issue with my axle during a service months afterward, they fixed it for free as they noted it may (or may not) have been related to the accident. Most recently I discovered they offer a free shuttle service to customers who need a ride after dropping of their vehicle, which came in handy when a ride fell through. I have been consistently impressed with the friendly staff and the professionalism of their operations. What a relief to find that auto maintenance does not have to be a battle.

"To be clear, this is a review of the service center at Fisher Honda, not the sales staff.

I live in Longmont, work in Broomfield and spend most of my spare time in Denver, but I go out of my way to take my 2005 Honda Civic to Fisher Honda in Boulder whenever I need service. Harry Snyder and the whole front-of-house team in the service department always remember me, remember my car an stake great care of me. They're always thorough about checking the car out, but never try to sell me on services that I don't need. They are very respectful of my time and budget, giving me just what I need and at a fair price. I always feel relieved when Harry greets me because I know I'll be in good hands.

Recently, I was driving my Civic on I25 when the "check engine" light came on. I decided to detour over to Boulder to have the Fisher folks check it out. After dropping the car, I settled in to make use of the waiting area's free wifi and coffee. In less than an hour, Harry informed me that they had checked the code and that the computer was saying that an oxygen sensor in the engine had gone bad. However, he said this was frequently a computer malfunction and that they had simply done a firmware update on the car. Other places might have simply read the computer code and done what the computer said, but Harry and the knowledgeable technicians went beyond that, sending me out of there without an unnecessary and expensive repair. Great service! I once had to take my Civic to the dealership in Longmont for service, and it was nothing like the service I get at Fisher. I wouldn't take my Honda anywhere else.

"We purchased our 2009 CR-V at Fisher Honda as new and have had it serviced there since. Our "service guy", Brownlow Townsend, has always provided us with excellent assessments, recommendations and follow up. Last week an accident involving "high grounding" the vehicle on a concrete abutment required us to drive the car directly to Fisher without an appointment to get the potential damage assessed. Brownlow and the service techs identified a leaking oil pan and possible structural damage to the steering system. Working with our USAA insurance reps, he was able to get our vehicle repaired and back to us just in time for our 1000-mile trip to Texas. The car operates like new with no problems now.

"I brought my car into an Acura Dealer in Denver to get an oil change. They told me I needed new rear brakes, brake fluid flush and new cabin filter. I had just changed my cabin filter so I decided to have Fisher Honda take a second look. Turns out my brakes still have plenty of life let and I didn't need any service done. I have had body work and oil changes done at Fisher Honda before and now I will only bring my Acura MDX to Fisher. Good service is hard to find and it saved me $500. Thanks Fisher.

"Yippee! My new 2012 Honda CR-V arrived and I LOVE it. I checked with other dealers and their salespeople in the area, but landed at Fisher Honda with Dennis Olmsted. I knew exactly what I wanted, both in terms of a trade-in for my 2007 Honda Civic and the purchase of my new vehicle. Dennis worked patiently with me until we were able to come to an agreement that worked for both of us. When I picked up my new CR-V on Friday, Dennis familiarized me with the features of the vehicle and tutored me on the navigation system, including helping me get my iPhone paired with the car. Before I drove off, he invited me to contact him if I needed additional help in the future. I promised him I would be calling whenever I needed a quick tutorial. "I purchased a Honda Pilot from Fisher Auto. Due to the fact that I am a vendor of theirs from Chicago they had to make special arrangements. In fact, they had a vehicle in stock that was very similar to the vehicle I was looking for but it didn't have the interior I was wanted. Due to the high demand and low supply of 2012 Honda Pilots at the time I was unsure they would be able to find exactly what I was looking for. "Took my car in today to get my brakes checked. I picked Fisher for three reasons. 1. They have a lot of good reviews on Google and other sites. 2. They are open on Saturdays for service, which is a huge plus for people who don't want to arrange for time off work. 3. They are about 1/2 mile from Avery's tasting room.
The person who helped me, Brown (short for Brownlow), was informative over the phone and I discovered the pricing was similar to Hoshi Motors. Since they were open on Saturday, they won my business. When I got to the dealership, I was signed in, we confirmed what they would be doing, and then I was given a ride to Avery. I figured that, no matter what, have a beer or two would help me feel better about having to spend money on brakes.
However, after enjoying a flight of samplers, I got the call from Brown, who informed me that they didn't really need to do the brakes right now. He explained in specific detail exactly how much pad was left versus how much they start with, and approximately how many more miles I had left on them. I laughed, because I don't drive much, so he basically told me that I have another year before I have to replace them. Victory!!"
He also explained everything else they found wrong with my car...nothing huge...some small leaks. I wasn't pressured to make any repairs and I let them know they could come pick me up. They sent me off with a coupon for a carwash, no money out of my pocket for the whole thing."

Dennis Olmsted's service and support in purchasing our new Honda Pilot was excellent. This the second Pilot we bought from him and his service is consistently excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the capabilities and features of the Pilot and was very thorough in demonstrating and familiarizing us with our new vehicle, and this 2012 version was more complex than our old 2005 model. When I first bought my new Honda CRV, I thought I would just make the trip in to Fisher a few times for maintenance. However, after a few months, I knew the only ones I wanted to look after my car was HARRY SNYDER and his team of experts. They are organized, efficient, and have answers without having to try to find someone who knows about CRVs. They already know it. I appreciate they are respectful of the customers' time and money.

Harry Snyder is my service rep, and he has always gone above and beyond duty to answer my questions, and by recommending multiple options when an unexpected problem is found during a routine service. Because I had a Canadian car under Honda Care, there was some difficulty getting a new battery under my Honda warrantee. There was also a software update that had to be done so I was told it would be a certain amount of time and they were finished well before the time expected. Have been going to Fisher Honda since I moved to Boulder in 2006, and have never considered going elsewhere. They are polite, clean, up front with prices and options, do a fantastic job of taking care of my car, and have never been anything other than professional. Most recent experience was that an expected 1.5 hour maintenance would take 4-5 hours, so Harry got me a rental car for free and still found a way to save me money on the work done. My car is at 100k miles, and have never had a problem with it. Highly recommended.

Great service as always. Car was brought in for oil change, 112,500 mile service and brake check. Harry had a package deal for the oil change and service. The brakes was pulsing and once of the rear rotors is close to needing to be replaced....instead to save money we gave grinding the rotor one more try to save money. As well he made me aware of a discount member card for service which paid for itself after the initial cost. Awesome work...keep it up!!!

He updates me regarding my cars needs and I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of in regards to what my car needs or the cost. I recently had my Accord serviced at Fisher Honda. The service I received from Tom Ainsworth was outstanding. He explained and replaced the faulty sensor in the car to my satisfaction. Harry took great care of us, I had the information I needed in a timely matter and it was always done in such a kind, friendly, professional matter. Buying a car is not always the most enjoyable experience a person can have. I had to buy a new car because my old one would no longer run. I went to Honda Fisher in Boulder and had a much better experience than I expected. We test drove 2 vehicles and were not pressured in to purchasing immediately. In fact, they encouraged my wife and I to look around at other lots, online, etc. A few days later we came back after looking online and finding the vehicle of our choice at Honda Fisher in Boulder. I have been going to Fisher for about 6 years now to get my car serviced and I couldn't be any happier! They offer shuttles to and from Fisher all day long! Mike was awesome. He has been my shuttle driver many times and is reliable and courteous. All the guys in the Honda Service Center are amazing! They are respectful and always remember who I am. I feel like they're family and I'd be "cheating" on them to go somewhere else. I don't ever want to go somewhere else!
