The Honda Ridgeline is a mid to full size sports utility truck. The Ridgeline invaded the North American market in 2005 and is still the only car based pick up truck in the American and Canadian market. This truck has won many awards and acclaims in the past and now the all new 2012 Honda Ridgeline is ready to invade the market again. The all new Ridgeline will be similar to the 2011 model in several ways including, four doors and rear seats. Some of the other changes which we will see in this model will include Bluetooth Technology State of the art navigation system, power windows, locks and keyless entry.

The Ridgeline series will be offered in three different trim lines RT, RTS and RTL. All the models will be available in 5 Speed Automatic transmissions locking the rear differentially with variable torque management and a 4 Wheel Drive System. Ridgeline will boost 3.5 Liter 24 valve SOHC VTEC V6 engine having 250 Horsepower and generating up to 274 lb-ft of torque. Suspension provided for these models include MacPherson Strut front suspension multilink rear suspensions.

• In-Bed trunk
• Remote entry system
• Integrated bed lights with auto on/off timers
• Heavy duty tow hooks

Power moonroof and fog lights will be standard on RTL trim, and the security system and privacy glass will be standard only on the RTS and RTL models.

A steel reinforced composite cargo bed will be available on all models and styled steel wheels with RT, Alloy wheels of 17” in RTS and 18” in RTL models. An integrated closed box frame with unit body construction and fully boxed high strength steel frame rails along with integrated Class III trailer hitch will be present to provide extra strength. It will boast 5000 lbs of towing capacity and 1546 payload capacity in RT and RTS as well, and 1497 in RTL models.

Some of the common interior features of 2011 model will again be seen in the 2012 Honda Ridgeline model which include:

• Air-condition with air filtration system in RT model and AC with dual zone climatic control will be provided with RTS and RTL models
• Power sliding rear cabin window
• Steering wheel mounted controls
• Multifunctional center storage console with Sliding armrest will be standard on all models
• Honda satellite linked voice activated navigation system
• Rearview camera with Bluetooth Technology for hands free phone facility
• Steering wheel mounted navigations and phone controls will be added in the navigation package
• HomeLink remote system
• Ambient console lighting
• Copper mats will be provided with the RTL model
• Driver’s seat with 10 way power adjustable feature and Power lumbar support in RTS and RTL models
• Leather-trimmed interiors and heated front seats will be available in RTL models only
• 60/40 lift-up rear seats with under storage will be available in all the models

Base model RT will be equipped with 6 Speaker AM/FM/CD audio systems. A 7 Speaker 160 Watts Am/Fm/6-Disc-in-Dash music system will be available on the RTS and RTL models. XM radio will be provided with RTL model and auxiliary jacks will be standard on all RTs and RTL models.
